Audiobook not only allows students to concentrate on the reading materials but students are now exposed to the correct pronunciation, intonation and accents of good English speakers. Audiobook will serve as a platform for teaching listening in a classroom where a teacher might seek some topics of general interest which would motivate students in listening English texts. For instance, one can change the colour of the photo to make the picture more vibrant. Or one can create a soft background effect by adding more shades to the pictures. One will not be bored by the fun of editing video. Editing is really a fun and interesting activity and if one masters the skills well. It can be used in creating wonderful teaching aids. As a matter of fact, Adobe photoshop has allowed us to create vibrant, attractive, colourful images and utilize the images to create educational videos.
In the fourth week, we learn how to integrate web technology in education. One of the most simple and easy ways is to use blog as a medium to keep absentees updated with the lessons they missed. Students will be encouraged to participate in learning activities via Internet where distance, time and space no longer limit the interaction between teachers and students. Besides, the lecturer has taught us some simple procedures in creating our own blogs and how to organize our blogs to make it attractive as well as informative. On top of that, it is important for teachers to give positive comments and constructive feedback to motivate students to take part in the learning process. Therefore, a teacher should learn the blogs well to fully utilize them for the good of the students.

While it is important for the users to manage the technology well, it is undeniable that technology offers changes as well as easier ways to organize lessons and classroom activities. In Week three, I have learnt about the rationale about ASURE model in teaching English. I learn about setting different types of objectives in an English classroom. The objectives can be classified into 4 major domains and they are cognitive domain, affective domain, motor-skill domain, and interpersonal domain. Then, I learned about the correct procedures as well as some important things that should be taken into consideration in delivering a good lesson. When it comes to technology, a teacher should take advantage of the media tools to attract students’ attention in classroom. Therefore, a teacher should be creative and innovative in utilizing media tools to make effective learning takes place in a classroom.
Writing can be an arduous and boring task but it enhances your capacity to memorize things. Start writing for a more effective revision.
In the second lecture, I have learnt the purpose of integrating technology in classroom learning. Basically, the rationale of using technology in teaching is to help students to experience a new way towards learning. The concept of integrating technology in education also includes the understanding of communication model. One has to know the process that occurs between the source and receiver in order to effectively inoculate new knowledge to the learners. Apart from that, I have learnt the role of a teacher as well as for the students where effective learning takes place. In short, a passionate teacher will be a good teacher who learns his role well and make careful plans to allow the a lesson to run smoothly with the integration of technology.
In the second week, I have learnt about how to integrate pictures and photos in my personal blog. Actually, it wasn’t that hard at all if you put your mind into in and open your eyes wider, then you will find some tiny and delicate icons to upload your images as well as short clips.
